Mr. Lercie Dee Lane, 58, of Garfield passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Atlanta following an extended illness.
Mr. Lane was born June 13, 1961 in Savannah to Dan Lane and Hilda Grimes. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffrey Lane and Todd Allen Lane. Mr. Lane was a truck driver until he became ill. He loved cooking, fishing, and camping with his family. Mr. Lane enjoyed hanging out with friends and was usually the life of the party.
Survivors include mother, Hilda Grimes of Garfield; son, L. D. Lane of Pooler; daughter, Kari Ann (John) Richardson of Eatonton; brothers, Chris (Carol) Lane of Swainsboro, Carl (Terry) Lane of Rincon, W. C. (Dianna) Grimes of Twin City; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Garfield United Methodist Church with Rev. Bryan Price officiating.
