Linda Sue (Flanders) Herrington

Mrs. Linda Sue Flanders Herrington, 68, of Kite passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro following an extended illness.

Mrs. Herrington was born October 20, 1952 in Swainsboro to the late Felton E. Flanders and Vera Mae Edenfield Flanders Bailey.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Mrs. Herrington was a dedicated member of Kite Church of God for 46 years.  She taught Sunday school and was president of the Ladies Auxiliary Club.

Survivors include her husband, Rufus Herrington of Kite; daughters, Becky Price Wilson (Richey)of Douglas and Melissa Herrington of Swainsboro; brothers, Gene Flanders (Diane), Earl Flanders (Crystal), both of Kite and Daniel Bailey (Cyndi) of Canoochee; grandchildren, Laci McRee and Alaina Herrington; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Kite Church of God with Reverends Allen Meeks and Randy Buxton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 20201 at Kite Church of God.

Pallbearers are Chris Flanders, Charlie Flanders, Eric Flanders, Dorsey Miller, Matthew Mimbs, and John Buxton.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
