Chapman Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Linda Rachel Mason, age 60, of Dublin, GA on Saturday May 7, 2011, at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs Mason was born in Montgomery County and lived most of her life in Dublin where she was a homemaker and also loved fishing. Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Franklin Carey, and Kazie Harrell Carey, brothers, Franklin and William Carey.
Survivors include her husband, Alford Wayne Mason of Dublin, GA; two sons, Chris Clark (Carrie) of Dublin GA, D.J. Clark (Diane) of Dudley, GA; daughter, Kathy Nobles of Dublin, GA; sisters, Vivian Myers of Mt. Vernon, GA, Sue Haynes of Vidalia, GA; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Alamo, GA at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, May 11.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at Chapman Funeral Home, Swainsboro
