Mrs. Lizzie L. Welch, 81, of Midville passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Welch was born November 5, 1933 in Union Springs, AL to the late Gilbert R. Hall, Sr and Erah Lou Cook Hall. In 1985, Mrs. Welch moved to Summertown with her family. She loved gardening and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Midville.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon Deleon Welch of Midville; sons, James (Jean) Fuller of Winder, David (Janice) Fuller of Hayesville NC, Tim Fuller of Conyers, Kevin Welch of Charleston SC and Jamie Welch of Midville; daughters, Diane (Vernon) Singleton of Troy AL, Debbie (Ronnie) Mills of Union Springs AL and Vickie Fuller of Conyers; sisters, Cheryl (Buddy) Norrell of Opelica AL and Ruby Kilpatrick of Banks AL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friend.
