Mae B. Bailey

Mrs. Mae B. Bailey, 83, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at PruittHealth Swainsboro following an extended illness.

Mrs. Bailey was born January 15, 1938, in Twin City to the late Allen Brown and Kate Sherrod Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.T. Bailey; sister, Sara Ruth Williams.  Mrs. Bailey loved Georgia and ECI football, cooking, and working in the yards.  She was an avid race fan.  She especially enjoyed her great grandbabies.  Mrs. Bailey was a member of First United Methodist Church Swainsboro.

Survivors include her son, John Allen (Yonna) Bailey of Swainsboro; grandson, Jay (Tiffany) Bailey of Hartwell; great grandchildren, Tenley Allen Bailey, John Colton Bailey both of Hartwell; sister, Billie McCook of Twin City; nephew, Frank (Erica) Williams of Dublin; and many friends.

Graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021, in Swainsboro City Cemetery with Mr. Cameron Kennison officiating.
