Mrs. Mae Meeler Grantham, 88, of Swainsboro was called to meet her Lord and Savior Sunday July 24, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Grantham was born in Banks county but lived most of her life in Jeffersonville, Ga and had lived in Swainsboro since 1990. She was a former business owner, a retired nurse and a member of The Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Rachels Meeler; husband, Buford Grantham; daughter, Joyce Grantham; grandson, Ron Grantham.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie and Sue Grantham of Danville; daughters, Gail and Charles Fargason of Atlanta and Sheila Grantham of Swainsboro; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at New Bethel Cemetery in Ben Hill County 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, July 26, with Pastor Fred Meeler officiating. Family will receive friends from 9 am until time of service at the church.
