Margaret B. Collins

Ms. Margaret B. Collins, 83, of Twin City passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Ogeechee Area Hospice following an extended illness.

Ms. Collins was born August 12, 1934 in Metter, Ga. to the late Owen Boyett and Mary Lou Brown Boyett. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Boyett. Ms. Collins has lived in Twin City since 1972. She loved fishing, watching John Wayne westerns, shopping, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Ms. Collins was a member od Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Emma Akridge of Twin City; brothers, Clinton Boyett, Jimmy Boyette (Alma), and Thomas Boyett all of Dellwood; sister, Diane Smith of Brooklet; grandchildren, Samuel Akridge of Swainsboro, and Rebecca Ducker (Curt) of Kite; great-grandson, Kainon Ducker of Kite; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 with Reverend Butch Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lake Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Samuel Akridge, Jason Boyette, Curt Ducker, Michael Ellington, Perry Lane, and Brad Mills.

Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Akridge, Remer Brown, Chris Baillargeon, East Georgia Regional CCU Nurses, and Ogeechee Area Hospice.
