Mrs. Marilyn Christine Youngblood Nichols, 80, of Adrian passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Nichols was born September 17, 1941, in Swainsboro to Ernest Youngblood and Maggie Riner Youngblood. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Theron “Bunny” Nichols; brother, Dennis Arnold Youngblood. Mrs. Nichols lived many years in Bonaire and Adrian. In 2018, she moved with her daughter and son-in-law to Carriere, MS. While living in Adrian, she became a member of Emanuel Christian Ministries.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Kenneth Nichols (Rebecca D’Annunzio) of Fort Valley; daughter, Christine Kaye Ponder (George) of Carriere, MS; grandchildren, Kenneth R. Nichols, April M. Bruhl (Jimmy), Stacey L. Ponder; sister, Charlotte Edna Wood of Dellwood; 1 greatgrandchild, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
