Marion (Norris) Rowland

Mrs. Marion Rowland, 75, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at PruittHealth following an extended illness.

She was born in Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California on November 22, 1949, to Wendell Norris and Maude Blankinship Norris.  Marion was preceded in death by her father and sister, Karen Perry.

She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and collecting trinkets, especially porcelain dolls.  Marion loved crafts, the Dodgers, the Inland Empire 66ers, gardening, and her fur baby, Angel.

She is survived by her mother, Maude Norris of Simi Valley, CA; daughters, Debbie Collins of Swainsboro, Loretta Lindsey of UT, Joy Griswold of Swainsboro; sister, Barbara Burkett of CA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and many friends.
