Mrs. Martha Ann Hill Rogers,70, of Kite died Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Mrs. Rogers was a native of Johnson County and was preceded in death by her parents, Ruel and Annie Laura Powell Hill; husband, Bobby Harold Rogers; and a sister, Regina Hill. She was a homemaker, a member of Turning Point Baptist Church where she had served as Church Secretary, and was a great Caregiver to family and friends.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Julie Rogers, Albany; a grandson, Tyler Rogers, Jackson; brother and sister-in-law, Freddy and Brenda Hill, Milledgeville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sybil Hill and Mitch Furnia, Macon, and Angie Hill and Larry Hildreath, Bonaire; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, January 31, with the Rev. Craig Tillman officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery, Kite.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 30 at Chapman Funeral Home.
