Martin "Marty" G. Scott

Mr. Martin G. “Marty” Scott, 64, of Swainsboro, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Marty was born January 20, 1959 to the late William Bernard Scott and Jeanette Logan Scott in Swainsboro. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Debbie Walker, Libby Hanson; brothers, Billy Scott, Randy Scott.  He was very outgoing and enjoyed fishing.  Marty was the jack of all trades and was naturally talented with drawing and bodywork.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Amber) Scott of Stillmore; brothers, Brent Fails and Grady Scott both of Swainsboro; sisters, Brandi Phan and Kelly Scott both of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews other family members, and many friends.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Scott Family Cemetery, 37 Bird Flanders Road, Swainsboro, with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating.
