Marvin Twain Stevens

Mr. Marvin Twain Stevens, 65, of Augusta passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at Gracewood East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta following an extended illness.

Mr. Stevens was born April 11, 1957, in Palatka, FL to Frank Stevens and Delphine Barton Wilkerson. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Nathan Stevens. Mr. Stevens enjoyed watching wrestling and NASCAR. He loved singing and his favorite singer was Johnny Cash. Mr. Stevens liked watching the ducks at the duck pond. His favorite fast food was burgers from Krystal.

He is survived by his brothers, Doyle Stevens (Ollie) of Swainsboro, Frank Stevens and Chris Stevens, both of Palatka, FL; sisters, Tammy Fryberger of Statesboro, Francine Stevens of Atlanta, Edna Stevens and Jean Stevens, both of Palatka, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022, in Swainsboro City Cemetery with Reverend Sammy Hall officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Prickett, Melvin Smith, David Ashley, Kevin Ashley, and George Jones.
