Ms. Mary Lucille Hutcheson, 67, of Uvalda passed away Monday night, October 3, 2016, at Jeff Davis Hospital following a brief illness.
Ms. Hutcheson was born December 5, 1948 in Atlanta, Ga. to the late Richard E. Payton and Mary Strickland Payton. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard Payton, III. Ms. Hutcheson worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 20 years. She loved walking, gardening, and crafts. Ms. Hutcheson was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include her sons, James R. Hutcheson, Jr. of Metter, and Hayward Lovett, Jr. of Savannah; daughter, Mary Stephens Burgess of Uvalda; brother, Robert (Vanessa) Payton of Savannah; sister, Richelle Payton of Savannah; grandchildren, Blake Stephens, Caitlin Stephens, Nicholas Burgess, and Liannah Burgess; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Services will be private and at a later date.
