Mary Ruth (Church) Sheffield

Mrs. Mary Ruth Sheffield, 91, of Kite passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.

Mrs. Sheffield was born April 1, 1931, in Vilas, NC to Robert Church and Carrie Walls Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William A. Sheffield; daughters, Margie Sheffield, Mary Sue McCool; grandson, James Sheffield. Mrs. Sheffield loved dancing.

She is survived by her sons, Franklin Sheffield (Sarah) of Kite, Robert Sheffield (Sheila) of Victoria, TX; sister, Grace Coffee of Lenoir, NC; 6 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be private and at a later date.
