Mrs. Mary Sisson, 80, of Swainsboro died Thursday, September 30, 2010.
Mrs. Sisson was born in Washington, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Alvin and Lizzie Wilson Saggus. She was preceded in death by her husband, David N. Sisson; brothers, Jack Saggus, John Saggus, Ray Saggus, and a sister, Evelyn Saggus. She was member of Washington First Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Susan (Harvey) Stevens, Vickie Sisson Davis, and Lisa Jane (Rex) Hanks, all of Swainsboro; brothers, Aytch Saggus and Bobby Saggus, both of Lincolnton; sisters, Virginia Adcock, Lincolnton, Sadie Pearson, Harlem, and Pat Phillips, Columbus; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2: 30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, October 3, with Rev. Ann Braswell officiating. Burial will be in Eastbrook Cemetery, Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 2.
