Mary Louise (Colley) Taylor

Mrs. Mary Louise Taylor, 81, of Twin City passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at her residence.  She was born September 6, 1943, in Grundy, VA. to Ayers Colley and Sally Johnson Colley.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude Taylor; daughter, Rita Malott; 5 brothers; 3 sisters.

Mary loved to watch wrestling, to travel, and spend time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest love. She loved her fur babies and a good breakfast. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her sons, Harry Sumner (Lori) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Scott Colley (Lisa) of Wadley; daughters, Dawn Ramirez (Raymond) of Swainsboro, Sherrie Cowart (Chris) of Twin City; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mary's caregiver, Ms. Sharonda Archie, for all her care and compassion during her illness.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Brother Curt Grimm officiating.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Tyler Flakes, Hunter Hooks, Raymond Ramirez, William Colley, Ethan Cowart, and Andrew Robertson.
