Mrs. Mary Hazel Pierce, 57, of Stillmore died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Pierce was born in England and a life long residence of Emanuel County.  She was preceded in death by her father, William Pitts; daughter, Natasha Autry; sister, Nell Dobson; brother, Jim Pitts.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Pierce of Stillmore; mother, Mary Pitts of Twin City; sons, Kade (Amber) Scarboro of Plant City FL, Chad (Amy) Pierce of Gainsville, and Devin (Jessica) Pierce of Twin City; brother, Henry Pitts; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 1 o’clock Monday afternoon, December 24, 2012 with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home.
