Melissa Marsh

Ms. Melissa Marsh, 48, of Metter passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her residence following an extended illness.

Melissa was born March 3, 1973, to the late George Linton Logan and Mary Helen Brinson Logan.  She was preceded in death by her parents. Melissa enjoyed working in the yard with her trinkets and fishing.  She enjoyed fishing so much after she got sick, she put a portable fan in the boat to stay cool.  Melissa adored her companion’s grandchildren and her fur baby, Gracie Ann.

Survivors include her companion of 6 years, Dan Lewis of Metter; sons Vance Lively of Dublin, Tyler Lively of Savannah, and Dillion Sherrod of Midville; brothers, Jody Logan of Swainsboro and Brian Smith of Conyers; sisters, Sonya Caldwell of Alexander, VA., Blair Scott and Lucy Logan, both of Swainsboro; grandson, Mason Lively; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 31, 2021, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 28, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
