Mrs. Michelle Kersey “Chelly” Gambrell, 31, of Swainsboro died Thursday, November 10, 2011 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Mrs. Gambrell was born in Candler County where she lived her teenage years before marrying and moving to Swainsboro with her husband. She was preceded in death by her father George Fulton Kersey. Mrs. Gambrell was an advid animal lover. She loved fishing with her husband, photography and she was a great mother, wife and homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith..
Survivors include her husband, Philip Gambrell of Swainsboro; son, Riley Gambrell of Swainaboro; mother, Vicky Parker of Metter; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kersey and Mr. and Mrs. Fulmer; Special great aunt and uncle, Junior and Margie Fulmer; sister, Cheri Morris; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Saturday, afternoon November 12, 2011 with Pastor Ray Jenkins and Mark Kersey officiating. Burial will be in the Eastbrook Cemetery near Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday November 11, 2011 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Adam Lovett, Jordy Sammons, Anthony Fulmer and Stephen Wilson, Jr.
