Morris Tucker Mitchell

Mr. Morris Tucker Mitchell, 65, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at East Georgia Regional in Statesboro following an extended illness.

Mr. Tucker was born March 23, 1954 in Sandersville to James Tucker Mitchell and Annie Myrtle Brantley.  He loved NASCAR, fishing and was a great handyman.  Mr. Mitchell was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Betty M. Mitchell of Swainsboro; daughters, Melba Sakowshi of Mayberry, NC., Carrie Bush of North Carolina; son, Christopher (Sharlene) Norfleet of Hephzibah;sister, Eula G. Scott of Statesboro, 2 grandsons and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be private.
