Miss. Nancy Brown, 57, of Twin City passed away Wednesday morning, August 17, 2016 at her residence following a brief illness.
Miss. Brown was born December 29, 1958 in Swainsboro to the late Lee Hanks Brown and Margaret Sherrod Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents. Miss. Brown loved being outdoors, and visiting family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Dale Brown of Twin City; brother, Jesse (Kathy) Brown of Twin City; sister, Julia (Pewee) Flores of Twin City; grandchildren, Kayla Williams (Billy) of Swainsboro; great-granddaughter, Lilly Jane Williams; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, August 19, 2016 with Reverend George Archer, Jr. and officiating.
Interment will be in the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, August 18, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Lamar Sherrod, Kenny Paul Mosley, Justin Allen, Ridge Allen, Justin Gay, and Jeff Aldridge.
