Mrs. Nancy Lipps Patton, 61, of Swainsboro died Wednesday morning, April 1, 2015 at the Pruitt Health Swainsboro following an extended illness.
Mrs. Patton was born July 9, 1953 in London Kentucky to the late John Lipps and Maude Baker Lipps. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Holland. Mrs. Patton lived in London Kentucky until 1979 when her family moved to Swainsboro. She liked to crochet, cross stitch and was a homemaker. Mrs. Patton was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Patton of Swainsboro; sons, Padraic Patton of Swainsboro and Kristoffer (Kasie) Patton of Warner Robins; daughter, April (David) Amburgey of Shelby Township, Michigan; brother, John (Kay) Lipps of Campbellsville Kentucky; 6 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Dellwood Baptist Church at 11 o’clock Friday morning April 3, 2015 with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.
Interment will be in the Lambs cemetery near Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday April 3, 2015 at the church.
Pallbearers will be men of Dellwood Baptist Church.
