Mr. Newburn B. Hutcheson, 76, of Norristown went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 31, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Hutcheson was born in Norristown and was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Myrtice Hall Hutcheson. He was Owner and Operator of Hutcheson Cabinet Company for 25 years and was a member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church for 49 years and had served as a Deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Henry Hutcheson; sons and a daughter-in-law, Keith Hutcheson, Dublin, Lynn and Betty Hutcheson, Adrian, Neal Hutcheson, Atlanta, and Sean Hutcheson, Adrian; daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Mickey Reeves, Greenwood, SC, and Mitzi and Clark Carter, Evans; brother and sister-in-law, Hughie and Rose Hutcheson, Swainsboro; sister, Joyce Jones, Adrian; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, April 2, with Lynn Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt Zion Cemetery, Norristown.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Hutcheson, c/o Lynn English, 735 Golf Dr., Swainsboro, GA 30401.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1 at Chapman Funeral Home.
