On the evening of October 25, 2014, Nicholas Henry Warf, Jr. passed away at the age of 66 after a brief and sudden illness. A beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, he was surrounded by those he loved. Nicholas was a Vietnam war veteran, and an author.
Nicholas was born in Huntington, West Virginia on July 14, 1948. He was the second son of the late Nicholas Henry Warf, Sr. and Imogene Ula Lawhorn Warf of Jacksonville, Florida.
Nicholas was a resident of Swainsboro, Georgia at the time of his passing. He is survived by the love of his life-his wife of 37 years, Myrna Coursey Warf.
He leaves behind: daughter, Andilea Warf and son Robert Warf, both of Swainsboro, GA; son Rusty and Ashley Warf of Vidalia, GA; daughter Heather and Daniel Rosas of Collins, GA; as well as six grandchildren: Dalton Warf, Rusty Warf, Jr. (RJ), Abigail Warf, Melina Rosas, Nicholas Rosas, And Daniel A. Rosas (Danybug). He is also survived by: brother, Larry and Dee Warf of St. Augustine, FL; cousins, John and Becky Warf of Las Vegas, NV; cousin, Ronnie Bias of West Virginia; sister-in-law Joyce C. Fort of Guyton, GA; nephew Kelly Fort of Springfield, GA; sister-in-law Helene Urbin and nephew Ryan Urbin of Clearwater, FL.
Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate his life in their own way. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate unexpected and unsolicited acts of kindness in his name.
