Noel "Ned" Donaldson, Jr.

Mr. Noel “Ned” Donaldson, Jr., 68, of Twin City passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Donaldson was born November 22, 1950 in Twin City to Noel Edward Donaldson and Mary Ann Ward Donaldson.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Ned loved people and animals.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, maintaining his deer plots, racing, motorcycles and his dog Spring.  Ned was a network of the underdog.  He was of the Primitive Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell Donaldson of Twin City; mother, Mary Ann Donaldson of Twin City; sister, Jenny (Parker) Freeman; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be Monday, August 5, 2019 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Elder Sam Bowen, Rev. John David Durden, and Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Raul Manrique, Butch Brinson, Allen Durden, Jamey Donaldson, Tim Baker, Wally Sasser, David Lynn, and Albert Cosnahan.

Honorary Pallbearers are cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery fund.

The family will be receiving friends at Ms. Mary Ann’s 32 Cedar Lane Twin City.
