Ora Kay Meeks

Mrs. Ora Kay Meeks, 64, of Adrian passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her residence following a brief illness.

Mrs. Meeks was born February 27, 1955 in Sparta, GA. to the late Betha Maxie King and Dorris Oxford King.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Mrs. Meeks loved fishing, shopping and working on her computer.  She also loved her Facebook friends.  Mrs. Meeks was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Meeks of Adrian; sisters, Melba Pearson of Warrington, Patsy Edwards of Camak, Martha Jackson and Faye Murphy, both of Thomson; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside Service will be Friday, October 11, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Charles Parrish officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 11, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Milton Cope, Morris T. Riner, III, Joey Webb and Hugh Foskey.
