Mrs. Ora L. Johnson Kelley, 92, of Swainsboro died Tuesday morning, February 12, 2013 at the Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kelley was born in Canoochee Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents, William Oscar Johnson and Ora Lee Bennett Johnson, husband, Melvin Kelley; 5 brothers; 3 sisters. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her special friend, Silas Price of Swainsboro, sister, Shirley Johnston of Melborne FL; nieces, Polly Stewart, Betty Taylor, Gail Prysock, Faye Morris, Sue Boatright and Debbie Brown; nephews, Bobby Saalmann, William Johnson, Carlton Johnson, Kalvin Johnson and Ronnie Johnson; several great nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11 o’clock Friday, morning February 15, 2013 with Reverend Randy Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery near Garfield.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m until time of service Friday, February 15, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
