Patsy Elaine Rogers

With our hearts heavy, we would like to share the passing of Patsy E. Rogers, 62, of Swainsboro, Ga, on the date of September 25th, 2026.

Patsy was born on April 28, 1964, to the late Ruth and John “Butterball” Burris, both of Kite, Ga. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa A. Nasworthy, and her brother John E. Burris.

She was the mother of three beautiful children, Teree Mullins (Adam), Marvin Rogers (Karen), and Cindy Knox (Jameson) and 6 grandchildren, Rowen, 17, Finn, 13, Lola, 12, Paisley, 11, Elaina, 9, and Sullivan, 5, all of South Carolina. Patsy also had two nephews, Brandon Gregory and Joshua Burris, and one niece Megan Nasworthy, all of Swainsboro, Ga., of which she treated as her own. She was also the proud “mom” of 11 chiweenies, Chevelle, Max, Sugar, Boss, Lil Boss, Fathead, Scruffy, Batman, Lil Girl, Minute, and Zowie, all of whom she devoted her entire being.

Patsy touched the hearts of every individual she ever met. No matter how little or how much she had, she ALWAYS had love to give.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
