Mrs. Paula Dell Grube, 75, of Canoochee passed away Monday night, September 25, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Candler in Savannah following an extended illness.
Mrs. Grube was born January 7, 1942 in Inverness, FL. to the late Joel Kershaw and Florence Bellamy Kershaw. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Grube moved from Lakeland, FL. to Blairsville, Ga. in 1997 living there until 2010 when she moved to Canoochee. She loved fishing, hunting, and singing. Mrs. Grube went to Nursing Homes as a member of the group 5 Alive singing gospel music. She also had a passion for growing Christmas Cactuses. Mrs. Grube was a member of Canoochee Missionary Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Grube of Canoochee; son, William Maybrey Raulerson (Terri) of Swainsboro; step-son, Ricky Grube (Robin) of Lakeland FL.; sister, Claudia Hawkins (Jim) FT. Gaines, Ga.; step-mother, Ruby Kershaw; previous husband, Bud Raulerson; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Canoochee Missionary Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 with Pastor Mark Wiggins and Rev. Louis Pearce officiating. Mrs. Grube will lie in state one hour prior to service.
Interment will follow in the Canoochee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Scotty Nasworthy, Randall Kersey, Corbin Wiggins, Phil Tatum, Ralph Page, and Walt Allen.
Honorary Pallbearers are Canoochee Missionary Baptist Church Women’s Sunday School Class.
