Mrs. Peggy Y. Eason, 64, of Swainsboro died Monday, March 26, 2012 at her residence following a brief illness.
Mrs. Eason was born in Vidalia GA and lived their most of her life before moving to Swainsboro two years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents James Mose Williams and Rosey Lee Rowland Williams McNair; brothers, Ronald Williams and Carl Williams.
Mrs. Eason was past president of the council at the Presbyterian Apartments in Swaisnboro. She loved gardening and her Chihuahua puppy Baby.
Survivors include one son, Clint A. “Tonya R.” Williams of Vidalia; one daughter, Cassandra L. “Scott” Henderson of Waycross; one brother, Bobby Williams of Mobile AL; four sisters, Mozelle Moses of Swainsboro, Janice Gilbert of Pensacola FL, Kathryn Sirmons of Waycross, and Mary Ann Sikes of Waycross; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 1 o’clock Thursday, afternoon March 29, 2012 with Rev. Wayne DeFore officiating. Interment will be in the Sharp Cemetery in Cedar Crossing.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ryan McLendon, Jimmy Moses, Ryan Kersey, Jeffrey Walley, Hayden Peacock and Raymond Sanders.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Warren Brinson.
