Mr. Phillip Scott Youngblood, 33, of Metter died early Saturday morning, September 27, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Pruitt Hospice of Swainsboro following an extended illness.
Mr. Youngblood was born August 12, 1981 to the late Dennis Arnold Youngblood and Sharon Earline Youngblood. He was preceded in death by his son, Lucas Scott Youngblood.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Youngblood of Cordelle; daughters, Faith Logan Youngblood of Summertown and Madison Paisley Youngblood of Cordelle; stepson, Garrett Bradley Hall of Cordelle; sisters, Gail (Stevie) Aldrich of Metter and Jennifer (Tony) Lesley of Canal Point FL; second mother, Mary Youngblood of Twin City; brothers, John (Paula) Valliere of Ashburn, VA and Patrick (Sherry) Valliere of Swainsboro; 5 nephews, 4 nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2014 with Reverend Jamie Archer officiating.
Interment will be in the Hines Baptist Church Cemetery near Midville.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday afternoon, September 28, 2014 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Kevin Bird, Billy Mills, Donny Mills, Lee Womack, Daniel Womack, Patrick Valliere, Randy Bird and John Deckle.
