Mrs. Phyllis W. Williams, 79, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Williams was born December 31, 1941, to E.L. Williamson and Edna Earl Durden Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby Williamson and Kenneth Williamson; sister, Janice Rogers. Mrs. Williams was a simple lady and enjoyed doing yard work. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son, Terry (Sue) Edenfield of Soperton; daughter, Tonia (Eddie) Clinton of Edgewater, Fl; caregiver, Barbara Williamson of Swainsboro; 2 granddaughters; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. August 19, 2021, at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Hal Wilson officiating.
Pallbearers are Tylan Hardy, John Hardy, Craig Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Billy Freeman, and Troy Standridge.
