Praxedes Dalia (Careaga) Jordan

Mrs. Praxedes D. Jordan, 76, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jordan was born July 21, 1947, in Cuba to the late Damasio Careaga and Hilda Careaga de Galvez.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eliseo Jordan; mother-in-law, Marta Hernandez.  Mrs. Jordan was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Thomson. She was a caregiver who loved serving others.  She had an “open door policy” if you were in need.  Mrs. Jordan loved people.  She was always tirelessly working and caring for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Annliss Brown (Sean) and Daylin Gonzalez (Mario); son, Jesus Jordan; grandchild, Jordan Contreras
