Quincy “Chad” Newman, 49, of Rentz, Georgia, passed away at his home on August 4, 2025.
Born in Dublin, Georgia, on October 14, 1975, Chad spent much of his life in the area. He retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base after years of steady work, and while he wasn’t one to make a fuss about things, he was proud of what he’d built.
Chad was a big fan of NASCAR and Tennessee Volunteer football. He liked what he liked and didn’t pretend otherwise. You always knew where you stood with him — and he could be counted on when it mattered.
He is survived by his loving parents, Janet & Keith Roberson and Quincy & Faye Newman; his children, Cody (Cheyanne) Newman, Harley Chalker, and Lance Newman; and his grandchildren, Daxston Newman, Kadence Newman, and Saylor James Chalker. He also leaves behind his uncle and close friend Flute Newman, along with stepsiblings, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Chad wasn’t big on ceremony, but he will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held at Baker Baptist Church on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at 6PM. The family will be receiving visitors at the church from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.
