Mr. Randy Goldman Lee, 70, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday May 28, 2026, at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta. He was born on May 14, 1956, in Swainsboro to the late Billy Lee and Audrey Webb Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy Woods Lee; brothers, Mike Lee and Danny Lee.

Randy Goldman Lee, affectionately known as Daddy, Ty, or Uncle Randy, was born on May 14, 1956 in Swainsboro, Georgia. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. Randy married Patsy, the love of his life, after only a few short weeks, and together they had one child, Brandy. He was also a proud “Ty Baby” to his five grandchildren, Diesel, Memphis, Malaya, Zac, and Bindi. Not only was he loving and supportive to his human children, but also to his fur baby, Lil Dog.

In Randy’s early years, he joined the United States Navy, where he discovered his love for cooking. After serving his country, he returned home to Swainsboro, where he started his family. After marrying Patsy and the birth of Brandy, he began his employment with the City of Swainsboro, where he worked in sanitation and lawn care until he retired.

Randy was a family man. Not only did he raise his daughter, but he also raised his grandchildren and was an important role model to them. In addition to spending time with Brandy and the kids, he also enjoyed spending time with his niece, Heather, and his great nieces and nephews, Blaze, Brendlee, Briar, and his late wife’s namesake, Pattyn Boone.

Randy had many hobbies. He loved to cook, especially for his family. He also loved to be outside, whether it was working in his yard or sunbathing in his white hat, big sunglasses, and cut-off jean shorts. He was a caretaker to many, often putting others before himself. He was recently recognized for 26 years of continuous donations to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

To know Randy and his humorous personality was definitely to love him. His presence, love, and personality will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. We love you most, Ty Baby.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Lee of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Diesel Carter, Memphis Carter, Malaya Carter, Zac Bolton, Bindi Lee; sisters, Sherri Stephens (Buddy) of Stockbridge, Brenda Byrd (Spencer) of Rutledge, Marsha Delk (Jimmy) of McDonough, Linda Banks (Randy) of Covington; fur baby, Lil Dog; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Brantley officiating.
