Mr. Randy Evans Braddy, 49, of Oak Park died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah following a brief illness.
Mr. Braddy was born and raised in Emanuel County. He was preceded in death by his father, John Randolph Braddy; brother, Johnny H. Braddy.
Mr. Braddy loved the great outdoors fishing, hunting, riding 4 wheelers and camping. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Braddy was a member of the Pine Hill Hunting Club in Stillmore. He was truck driver and employed with Timmy Williamson Logging. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa H. Braddy; son, Randy Allen Durden of Oak Park; daughters, Stephanie M. (Josh) Bedgood of Stillmore, Tasha A. Braddy , Brandy Nicole Braddy, and Jessica Edenfield all of Twin City, and Michelle Braddy of Garfield; mother, Mary C. Braddy of Oak Park; brothers, Jimmy D. (Dawn) Braddy of Oak Park; Jerry Braddy and Jackie Braddy both of Swainsboro; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, August 21, with the Pastor June Scott officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 20 at Chapman Funeral Home.
