Raymond Eugene Bell, Jr.

Mr. Raymond Eugene Bell, Jr., 54, of Kite  passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at AU Medical Center in Augusta following a brief illness.

Mr. Bell was born on June 29, 1964 in Metter to Raymond E. Bell, Sr. and Sandra Lindsey Bell. He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Jerry Bell. Mr. Bell had been employed with Walmart for over 15 years. He loved fishing, gardening, taking care of his rosebushes, and spending time with his wife. Mr. Bell dearly loved his Heavenly Father. He always had a smile on his face. Mr. Bell had been employed with Walmart for over 15 years. He attended Oaky Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Whisnant Bell of Kite; father, Raymond E. Bell, Sr. of Kite; sister, Teresa Wingate of Kite; nieces, Christy (Matt) Wiggins and Jessica Wingate.

Funeral Services will be at Oaky Grove Baptist Church 3 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019 with Dr. Tom Akins and Pastor Harry Hadden officiating.

Interment will be at Oaky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Whisnant, Shawn Whisnant, Carol Morgan, Walter Price, Matt Wiggins, John Dixon, Allen Vescuso, and Rick Dixon.

Honorary pallbearers are James Whisnant, Trey Toler, Doyle Kersey and Harry Martin.
