Mr. Ricie Elton Williams, 79, of Millen died Friday, January 21, 2011.
Mr. Williams was born in Swainsboro and was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Jackson and Oca Katherine Rowland Williams; a brother, Lamar Williams; and a sister, Virginia Williams. He was a Baptist and loved drawing, writing, listening to music and being around his family and friends.
Survivors include brothers, Sherril Williams, Kite, Woody Williams, Macon, Roland Williams, Milledgeville, Gerome Williams, Metter, and Glenn Williams, Kite; sisters, Lynette Watson, Macon, and Edie Pundt, Wadley; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, January 23, with the Rev. Lamar Kersey officiating. Burial will be Sardis Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 22 at Chapman Funeral Home.
The family request memorials be made to Williams Chapel Youth Program, 77 K&K Rd., Kite, GA 31049.
Pallbearers will be nephews of Mr. Williams.
