Robert Howell Chance

Mr. Robert Howell Chance, 72, of Bartow passed away Monday afternoon, February 12, 2018 at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Chance was born November 12, 1945 in Dublin, Ga. to the late Mackey Watson Chance and Rosie Lee Tapley Chance. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Robert Chance, Jr., and Mike Chance; brothers, Alvin Chance, Wiley Chance, and Mack Chance. Mr. Chance was a Millwright by trade. He loved fishing, especially with his grandson Blaze.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherri Chance (Mike) of Millen; grandson, Blaze Chance (Breanna) of Millen; great-grandson, Bennett Chance of Millen; sisters, Louise C. Heyward of McDonough, and Rosa C. Hill of Stockbridge; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial Service will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 with Pastor W.J. Dawson officiating.
