Mr. Robert Henry Morris, 66, of Swainsboro died Saturday, December 25, 2010.
Mr. Morris was a native of Emanuel County and was preceded in death by his parents A. W. and Mary Lou Farthing Morris, and a grandson, Steven Trey Henry. Before retiring he was Service Manager with Modern Homes and attended Emanuel Christian Ministries.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Morris; sons, Bobby (Angel) Morris, Twin City, Troy (Renee) Morris, Swainsboro, Dwight (Anna) Morris, Twin City, and Michael Brandon “BoBo” Morris, Swainsboro; daughters, Cindy (James) Lann, Swainsboro, and Missy (Steven) Henry, Swainsboro; brothers, James (Carolyn) Morris, Swainsboro, and Roy (Linda) Morris, Swainsboro; sisters, Mary Ruth Johnson, Swainsboro, Shirley (Henry) McKuhen, Kamak, Patricia McGuire, Pennsylvania, and Barbara (JR) Skipper, Swainsboro; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Emanuel Christian Ministries at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning, December 29, with the Reverends Bunny Hudson and Morris Brantley officiating. Burial will be in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 28 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Craig Morris, Brian Moore, David Johnson, Adam Boatright, Kevin Moore, and Alton Dudley.
