Mr. Robert “Bobby” Allen Seamans, 79, of Swainsboro passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. He was born on October 19, 1946, in Swainsboro to the late Louise Allen Daniels.
Bobby was a man who believed in showing up for others and making his community a better place. He proudly served his country as a member of the National Guard for many years. He was also a devoted member of the Masonic Lodge, the Shriners Club, and the Kiwanis Club, where he built lasting friendships and dedicated countless hours to service. He found purpose in service, both to his country and to his community, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
He is survived by his 4 children, Robert Seamans, Jr. (Lynn), Rebecca Byrd (Michael), Lori Fox (Justin), Matthew Seamans (Chelsea); loving companion, Beverly “Jean” Moore; daughter at heart, Stephanie Watkins (Bryan); daughter-in-law at heart, Stacey Moore; 24 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with one on the way, 2 great-great grandchildren, many dear family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; father, Floyd Allen; stepfather, John Daniels; son at heart, Al Moore; granddaughter, Kayle Seamans.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Mr. Darryl Gray officiating and the eulogy by Mr. Robert Seamans, Jr.
Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Bobby’s grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will include members of Masonic Lodge #244, the local Shrine Club, and the Kiwanis Club.
