Robert B. "Buck" Anderson

June 26, 1941 — September 8, 2011

Mr. Robert B. “Buck” Anderson, 70, of Swainsboro died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro following an extended illness.

Mr. Anderson was born in Emanuel County where he lived all his life.  He was preceded in death by his parents Loren Anderson and Lorene Willis Anderson.  Mr. Anderson worked with Ramsey Candy Company for many years before retiring.  He loved watching the races and civil war history.  He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Swainsboro.

Survivors include his daughters, Donna Anderson (James) Dutcher of Warner Robbins,  Ginger Anderson (Eddie) Brantley of Swainsboro;  sons, Brice (Michelle) Anderson of Vidalia, Loran Anderson and Codi Anderson both of Swainsboro; Special Friend, Joy Bailey; 9 Grandchildren.

Services will be at Southside Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Sunday, afternoon September 11, with Reverend Earl Warnock officiating.  Mr. Anderson will Lie in State one hour prior to service.  Burial will be in the Anderson Cemetery in Kite.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday September 10, 2011 at Chapman Funeral Home and at the residence of 207 Central St, Swainsboro.

Pallbearers will be Brice Anderson, Loran Anderson, Codi Anderson, Eddie Brantley, James Dutcher and Benton Dutcher.
