Roger Dale Miller

Mr. Roger Dale Miller, 69, of Twin City passed away Wednesday morning, January 31, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Miller was born July 29, 1948 in Portal, Ga. to the late Hubie Miller and Carine Graham Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Roberta Miller; brothers, Bobby Miller, Darryl Miller, and Buddy Miller. Mr. Miller was a mill right worker, working as a pipe fitter. He was a lifelong residence of Portal. Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Paines Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Dale Miller, Jr. (Sonya) of Columbia, S.C., and Brad Miller (Cindy) of Jacksonville, FL.; daughter, Valerie Miller Hagins (Rico) of Twin City; brothers, Johnny Miller (Nancy) of Metter, and Tony Miller (MaryAnn) of Rockyford; sister, Belinda Deloach of Statesboro; 9 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial Service will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 with Reverend Doug Weisel officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
