Roma Lee Wright

On March 1, 1944, Roma Lee Wright was born to the late Willie Easterling and Vinelle Williams Cuyler.  Her devoted parents were Annie Mae Gibson and Enoch Gibson.  Roma left this world due to an extended illness on June 19, 2021. She lived in Dover, DE for her early mid-years of living.  Roma attended Dover Delaware schools.  Later in life she resided in Swainsboro where she made it her home.

She leaves behind her loving husband, James Edward Wright of 27 years.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Easterling and Louise Cuyler.

To carry her legacy, she leaves behind six daughters, Althea Trabue, Anna Robinson, Valertina Robinson, Stacy Robinson, all of Swainsboro, Angela (Arthur) Hurley of Adrian, Shirl Pitts of Columbus; one son, Benjamin Lamont Robinson (daughter-in-law Patricia) of Swainsboro; sisters, Pearl Cuyler, Vivan Cuyler, Alberta (Willie) Lockett, Helen Cuyler, Lillie Cuyler, Daisy Cuyler, Mary Gilmore, Martha Cuyler, Pam Easterling, all of Swainsboro, Ella Mae Easterling of Miami, FL, Betty Smith of Lexsy; brother, Willie Lee Cuyler, Jr.  She leaves behind 9 granddaughters, 14 grandsons, many great-grandchildren who she all loved dearly and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Armstrong officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Michael Cuyler, Robert Cuyler, Hurbert Gross, Terrence Coleman, Chris Cuyler and Andre Jackson.
