Ronald "Scott" Gene Kidd

Mr. Ronald “Scott” Gene Kidd, 80, of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Kidd was born October 8, 1942, in Madison, WV to the late Mack Kidd and Gwendolyn Jackson Peters (James).  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sonja Jackson.  Scott was a radio personality with WJAT and WSYL.  He was a lifelong fan of Cincinnati Reds.  Scott was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Kidd; son, Jeff Kidd; daughter, Kim Roughton (Keith); sisters, Carolyn Workman (Bob), Debra Milam; grandchildren, Nella Martin (Josh), Sunni Williams, Libby Williams, George Roughton; great-granddaughter, Emmie Martin; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
