Ronnie Harvey Bedgood

Mr. Ronnie Harvey Bedgood, 57, of Swainsboro passed away November 18, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Bedgood was born April 11, 1961 in Swainsboro, Ga. to Harvey Bedgood and Syble Durden Curl. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Bedgood; wife, Jane Wilkerson Bedgood; sister, Diane Atkinson; step-father, Wendell Curl. Mr. Bedgood was a truck driver and the owner of Bedgood Trucking. He was a hardworking man, known for his blue hat. Mr. Bedgood enjoyed fishing, camping, racing, and playing pool. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his mother, Syble Durden Curl of Swainsboro; wife, Laura B. Curl of Swainsboro; sons, Ronnie Bedgood, Jr. (Olivia Tapley) of Swainsboro; Ben Bedgood (Jessica Aque) of Ocilla, GA.; daughter, Cianna Bedgood (Gary Vann) of Vidalia; stepdaughters Marie Meeks of Kite; Christy Meeks of Kite; brothers, Larry Bedgood of Swainsboro; Michael Curl of Millen; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Graveside service will be held at Lamb Cemetery 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 with Rev. Brad McKenzie officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home 12 p.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers are Jason Atkinson, Adam Boatright, John Atkinson, Ronnie Bedgood, Jr., and Ben Bedgood.
