Mr. Ronnie Logan, 68, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at AU Medical Center in Augusta following an extended illness.
Mr. Logan was born August 22, 1953, in Swainsboro to George Logan and Lydia Turner Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Samuel J. Hall; brothers, Linton Logan, Gene Logan; sisters, Jeanette Scott, Glenda Richards, Dorcille Logan. Mr. Logan worked for 40+ years in the taxi industry. He worked with A. M. Herrington and Field Taxi before starting his own service, Logan Taxi. Mr. Logan was an avid fan of NASCAR drivers Bill and Chase Elliott. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Logan served in the U. S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Allen Logan (Shannon) of Swainsboro; daughter, Dawn Wilkerson (Henry) of Swainsboro; sister, Judy Chapman of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Courtney Wilkerson, R. J. Phillips, Kytle Phillips, Claudia Wilkerson, Ryan Logan, Gauge Hall, Levi Hall; great-grandson, Kai Hofer; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Price and Mrs. Renee Price officiating.
Interment will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jim Sherrod, Trent Lewis, Shannon Scott, Seth Thompson, Jody Logan, and B. J. Scott.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Logan’s grandchildren.
