Rosella B. Anthony

Mrs. Rosella B. Anthony, 68, of Lyons passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Meadows Park Health & Rehab in Vidalia. She was born on April 28, 1958, in Vidalia to the late Willie James Bennett, Sr. and Lillie Mae Young Bennett. Mrs. Rosella was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shirley Bennett, Alberta Bennett; brothers, Willie James Bennett, Andrew Bennett; grandson, DeAndrea Anthony.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Clifford “Bill” Anthony; sons, Clifford Anthony, Jr. (Darlene), Tony Bennett (Mia), Michael Anthony, Tyrone Anthony (Kaiwanya); daughters, Jeanette Hardwick (Joe), Rena Anthony, Mary Ann Anthony, Veronica Anthony (Will); brother, Jessie Bennett; sisters, Bobbie Kent, Gail McKinney (Charlie), Carolyn Floyd (Timmy), Jacqueline Anthony (Phil); 24 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2026, at First African Baptist Church of Vidalia with Reverend Johnny Samson.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Interment will be at White’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Michael Anthony, Daedric Anthony, Edwin Bennett, Jeffery Bennett, Charlie McKinney, and Alfreddie Bennett.
