Mr. Roy Ruston Edenfield, 70, of Milledgeville formally of Swainsboro died Saturday evening, March 10, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Edenfield was born in Swainsboro.  He worked with Perry Construction as a truck driver before retiring.  Mr. Edenfield was a member of the Voice of Truth in Irwington, GA.

Survivors include his wife of five years, Judy Edenfield of Milledgeville; step daughters, Donna Rachels of Swainsboro and Jody Scarboro of Twin City; brother, Ricky Moxley of Brunswick; sisters, Wanda Moxley, Debbie Owens, Marilyn Lumley, and Carolyn Carter all of Brunswick; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3 o’clock Tuesday, afternoon March 13, 2012 with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.  Burial will be in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday March 12, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home and at the residence of Roy and Donna Rachels, 364 Kemp Rd, Swainsboro.

Pallbearers will be Roy Rachels, Lee Rachels, Lamar Rachels, Scotty Scarboro, David Randall, and Travis Slater.
