Mr. Russell Lee Burgess, Jr., 56, of Uvalda died Monday May 13, 2013 at the Jeff Davis Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Burgess was born in Joliet, Illinois to the late Russell Lee Burgess, Sr. and Wilma Mae Nordyke Burgess. He was Assistant Manager in floral sales with Hornbuckles Wholesale.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Mary Hutcheson Burgess; sons, Nicholas Lee Burgess and Blake Stephens both of Uvalda; daughters, Liannah Morgan Burgess and Caitlin Stephens both of Uvalda; brother, Willam (Mary Jane) Burgess of Florida; sisters, Julia (Bill) Haas of Macon, Lana (Ed) Rose of Missouri, Betty Beagle of Florida and May Clay of Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held Tuesday morning, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 o’clock at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.
